Porch View Dances is BACK!
Excited to announce that Porch View Dances (PVD) will be live and in-person for summer 2023, Kaeja is beyond thrilled to introduce two guest PVD collaborators who are key members of this year's team: Co-curator and Artistic Producer Sofi Gudiño and Co-curator Sid Ryan Eilers.

In a black and white photo, Sofi Gudiño, a queer Latin person with short curly hair, smiles widely and rests their chin on their hand. They are wearing a fuzzy white sweater and small gold earrings with a ring on their right hand. The photo is framed with an orange circle and next to the photo is the porch view dances logo and text that reads “I am excited to bring a new season of public art to PVD that reflects the Toronto I grew up in and reaches beyond the porches to our audiences!” Sofi Gudiño Co-curator and Artistic Producer

Sid Ryan Eilers, a white non-binary, middle aged person with short dark blond hair gazes forward, wearing a jean button down long shirt. Their left arm is raised with fingers reach forward and palm facing down framing their face. Their right arm with fingers reaching forward and palm facing upwards frames the bottom of the photo. They are against a brick wall. This photo is framed in an orange circle. Next to the photo is the porch view dances logo and text that reads “I am so excited to be working with Sofi on this incredible program. Working alongside Karen and Allen Kaeja is a true honour. Karen’s founding vision “real people dancing in real spaces” resonates strongly for me”. Sid Ryan Eilers Co-curator
Sofi and Sid will lead the selection of this year’s PVD choreographers together, in consultation with Karen and Allen Kaeja. Kaeja is thrilled to welcome Sid and Sofi into Porch View Dances; we are already inspired by the warmth and artistry they are bringing to this year’s festival. We can’t wait to dance with you this summer!
