Rental Spaces for the Arts in Toronto
Following the article in the Toronto Star about the lack of dance spaces in the city, several organizations with rental space available reached out; we have collected their information here as a resource for the dance community. These spaces are currently accepting rentals – feel free to get in touch with them!

Dance Arts Institute
Three beautiful, affordable dance and multi-use studios for rent in downtown Toronto.
SKETCH Working Arts Studio Space
Accessible facilities available for artistic production and community gatherings for affordable rent include a ceramics studio with 4 pottery wheels and a kiln, dance studio, industrial kitchen, multi-use project studio and event space, music rehearsal and production space, recording studio and post production gear, and a cozy multi-purpose studio.
Birchcliff Bluffs United Church
Meeting rooms and other spaces available for rent.
Creative Children’s Dance Centre
Two large studios for rent with availability during the days on weekdays and evenings on weekends; artists’ rates available.

A creative building in the Junction with rooms for rent including dance studio space. Arts rates available.
Dance Connexion

Dance Together Project
Studio in the Junction that’s great for rehearsals, classes, meetings, workshops, and self tapes.
East End United
A Community Hub, located on Danforth Ave near Chester subway station. A variety of spaces are available for dance rehearsals, meetings, recitals, and more.
Esther Myers Yoga Studio
A studio located near Dupont and Bathurst with rental availability throughout the week and weekend.
Pia Bouman School
Four studios for rental with weekday availability.
Studio RAW
1700 square foot studio space at Dupont and Dufferin; sliding scale rental rates for QTBIPOC arts groups.
Young People’s Theatre
Brand new rehearsal studios downtown with availability for rentals, particularly in the evenings and during the summer months.
